Fire!!
Today we took Spence into the Maternal Child health Nurse for his 2 year old check up. He is in the average group for his height and weight which is great! She said his language and development is above average for his age which is what every parent wants to hear!! It seems we are doing ok!!
We are going to Tasmania tomorrow for 3 days to visit Kaz's Dad and his wife (Grandpa Stu and Grandma Sue, to Spencer). They live about an hour south of Hobart and we are expecting it to be VERY cold! It's Stu's birthday on Wednesday and we were going to surprise him by just turning up, but we needed them to pick us up and Sue got too excited and told him we were coming!! It will be great to see them and for them to see Spence.
It is a cold and rainy day today, I have to go to work tonight for my last night shift before 4 days off! I have lit the fire for Kaz and Spence tonight so they will be nice and toasty warm! I set the camera to continuous shot and took a series of photos of the fire. I find it interesting all the patterns that the fire can make that you don't normally see with the naked eye, but the camera can pick up with a faster shutter speed. I like this one for the couple of faces you can sort of make out in the flames! One in the top centre looking straight ahead, and the other one on the right in profile!!
