Sails

This is a print of a photograph shot in 1934, entitled Migrant Sails and originally published by Graphique de France. It hangs on the wall above my desk in my flat. I love the monochrome image and the shape of the boat's sails and their shadows. Also, you can see action in the image itself, in the tiny figures clambering about on the deck.
