welcome april

i am so glad it is april.

i love april. i think it's my favorite month. well, maybe second after october. but in april, you know spring is upon us. spring is mostly even just here. it's so nice.

i'm really enjoying life these days. the weather, eastertide, the chance to hang out with grad school friends. things are just good. i am, as it were, more social than i've ever been in life. which, seems pretty unreasonable given the amount of work, etc. ah well. it's lovely.

i am thoroughly enjoying where i am at, looking forward to the summer, and not regretting the past. this seems to me ideal.
