woodpecker morning

Went out for the birds this morning. Winter residents still dominate: Mountain Chickadee, Ruby-Crowned Kinglet, Red-Breasted Nuthatch, and this, the Hairy Woodpecker. I feel like a broken record, but the spring migrants are on their way...they should be arriving this week! I need them more than ever these days.
