surely you can see

I didn't take many pictures on the second day of the MS150 - in fact, the first picture I took at all was just after I had finished riding for the day (with 28 miles left to go on the route, at the lunch stop). It was raining steadily and pretty hard at times, a number of people got hypothermia, and I just wasn't really having a great time.

Ride management offered the crowds at the lunch stop something for everyone - telling people they weren't allowed to go out, but if they did there would still be support. So people who didn't want to ride could tell themselves they weren't allowed to, and people who did still got to. I really just didn't want to, after 45 miles in the cold rain and two days eating nothing but bags of chips and ho-hos that I didn't even want.

Much later, after I had gotten home, Laura and I went to the coffee shop across the river, and I think I had the first tasty cup of decaf coffee I've ever had.
