Voting with our feet

A yes vote today to getting out and about.

After an early visit to John Lewis and a successful purchase and treacle scone within the first half hour, we then headed for lunch followed by an afternoon sojourn at Dynamic Earth. New to the venue is Adventure, a 4D experience of the different climates of the planet. Great fun, though I think I shrieked the loudest.

As the cold greyness had vanished to leave cloudless skies, we popped briefly to the Scottish Parliament. Love or hate the outside - which I've heard people suggest looks like it's decorated with giant hairdryers - the inside is lovely. A very nice man invited us to go into the debating chamber to listen to the goings on but the sunny weather was too alluring. Judging by what I saw on the live footage monitor, I reckon some of the MSPs would've preferred to come outside to play too.
