Kitsilano Sunset

We walked to Granville Island after breakfast, and toured the market. I defy anyone to walk up and down the aisles there without getting hungry. We bought some snacks to eat on the outdoor benches overlooking the water, and later had some really good Indian food for lunch.

After lunch we took the water taxi back to the B&B. On the trip back, we saw a boat that had been wrecked on the end of a breakwater by the recent storm.

After dinner this evening we went to the beach at high tide, to see if the the Tuesday Sunrise was still stuck in the sand. She was still there -- you can see her behind the tree on the right.

It was a beautiful, peaceful sunset. Lots of photographers were out -- some with tripods, and some shooting pictures of the boat with flash.

This would be a great neighborhood to live in.
