Ferns and Ajuga Ground Cover

I have ferns and Ajuga Ground Cover, also called Bugleweed growing under the old oaks in the back yard. They both can be aggressive covers but they are much prettier than weeds. (A weed is just a plant that no one has found a use for.)
The pollen is the worst here than ever. Everyone is complaining of allergies... me included.
It might rain tomorrow, but I won't hold my breath. The weather patterns are changing. We will probably go into a dry spell.
My hose is already runnung water to my roses!
