Slowly waking....

The morning's walk with Woofer Jnr was blissful - crystal clear light, empty skies, without a plane vapour trail in sight, and a hint of warmth in the sun.
This is such an exciting time of year as spring gathers momentum. I love watching the horse chestnut trees waking up, revealing their chandelabra of flowers hidden within the leaves.

Its hard to comprehend the chaos being caused by the apparently empty sky. Monday is the start of the London Book Fair, one of the biggest publishing events in the year, and the travel disruption is creating havoc with everyone's plans. Life can be interesting!
