Earls Court Two

For a few days every April, the international publishing world descends on London for the book fair which is one of the largest of its kind.

Thanks to the travel disruptions this one will be very different - many colleagues can't get here, nor can customers... it looks like it'll have a very local flavour to it, with a smattering of near continental publishers, agents and booksellers

I'll be raising a glass, or two, to absent friends....
