Evening Sky

It was a very nice day. It was nice to act on impulse, leave the family for an hour in the morning to go to a few yard sales. I picked up a few bargains, which set a nice tone for the rest of the day. The kids got a four-hour play date while the moms brainstormed for their upcoming part-time hobby business: a cut flower stall at a local farmers market. Something to keep us hopping over the summer, and hopefully get the kids involved, too. My poor sweetheart was left to his own devices: giving our lawnmower an overhaul, then mowing the yard, and then going over some work.

As I prepared a yummy chicken Alfredo dinner, this evening sky took over the horizon. That was the closest it came to a sunset.
