Gingerbread Cottages, Oak Bluffs.
We had a lovely long walk along the coastline this morning, right along to the lighthouse at East Chop and then down into Oak Bluffs.
They have the most wonderful "gingerbread cottages" in Oak Bluffs, there are loads of them all brightly painted lots of different colours. Its so very cute! My photo really doesn't do them justice at all. Especially as it was a beautiful sunny day earlier but it was getting a bit overcast again at this point. Its a gorgeous wee town though regardless of the weather and so nice to wander around.
But we are most content to be staying in Vineyard Haven instead, its a bit more real and down to earth and we love our wee bit of beach - even if it is too cold to sit out there! And by the time we got back it was sunny again, yay!! We celebrated with a late lunch of BLT's and peanut butter M+M's. Yum. :O)
More of my Martha's Vineyard photos can be found here.
Yesterday's blip had links to some of the photos I've recently added to Flickr! of our trip so far. Feel free to have a look x
