Bands of colour

The sea was an amazing mixture of colours today. My pic hasn't really done it justice.

Although it looked pretty from indoors, outside the wind was a howling westerly and all boats across the Pentland Firth were cancelled. Not a good day for anyone trying to get on and off the islands. First it was planes off + boats on, then it was boats off + planes on... travellers didn't know if they were coming or going!
