Silver ripples

There comes a time of year when you notice the grass being blown in silver waves over the fields. I guess that soon they'll be cutting silage.

Hmmmm, can't decide to have a rant or not about them removing all Northlink Services to and from Orkney until Friday.... don't think I will... lets just be be glad that the Pentland Ferries service is still operating.

I wonder if this means Pentland Ferries will be given the money that Northlink get in order to provide a lifeline service? I mean if Northlink are unable to provide the essential link and Pentland Ferries are stepping into the breach then they should be given the financial support.
