No Entry...

Bethany has, on and off, had this habit of wanting to keep a book under her pillow when she goes to bed. It was inevitable that sharing the bedroom with her brother, that he'd pick up the same habit.

In the last week, they've taken to having a wee blether before they go to/fall asleep which is good because it means I can give a finite number of songs before I can just leave the room and leave them to it.

I had an inkling that a certain situation might arise out of these wee rituals and right enough tonight it happened, almost exactly as I imagined it. The two of them in their side by side beds, fast asleep with the heads lying face down in the books they were reading when they nodded off.

It made me snigger.
