Signpost

Centreparcs holiday day 4 - despite following the signs for the red squirrels, I didn't actually manage to spot one, although some folk in our party had spotted a few on their walk around the park the day before.

After a swim with the wee man in the morning (earlier than usual due to the pool being open half an hour earlier for under-3s today), mrs monochrome and I headed for our usual post-pool latte at the lakeside Starbucks. After that we headed back to the lodge for lunch, and, having not been our for a proper walk around the park, we decided to leave the wee man with the grandparents and get out to stretch our legs. We stopped by the bird hide to see if we could get some decent photos, however I think it was the wrong time of day, as there wasn't much to see. On the way back, we stopped by the bar in the village centre for a cheeky wee pint before heading back to the lodge for more games. Dinner was pre-booked for Rajinda Pradesh, and was most enjoyable, although the restaurant was a little too hot for the babies present.
