Watermelon Sale
With a trip to Boston coming up next Saturday, I wasn't too bothered if I didn't venture far from home today. Besides, I have still have a backlog of photos to process from last weekend.
But the demands of blipfoto are such that I needed to take a shot. My wife wanted to pick up some fruit from Jacksonville Farmers Market, on Beaver Street, and it made sense to take my camera along.
The Jacksonville Farmers Market is the oldest in Florida. It was located downtown for many years but moved to its present site in 1938 and is open from dawn to dusk 365 days a year.
I took a few shots featuring the fruit and vegetables on sale but the post for today just had to be this shot of a vendor and customer in the process of a watermelon transaction.
