Is this orchid really sticking its tongue out at m

Today I received some toys, a set of Kenko extension tubes (12, 20 and 36mm). Of course, I had to try them immediately. (Is this a guy thing?) Since the wind was too gusty outdoors, I chose to shoot indoors. My subject was an orchid happily blooming away in the living room. After three or so hours the orchid tired of me being in its face and gave the tongue. It's a pretty tongue, but I got the message and quit harassing the poor plant.
