Central Park

We had a gorgeous time in Central Park today. Just picnicking, reading and wandering about. It's such a beautiful place and there were so many people milling about, we saw buskers, tourists, locals, dogs, horses, the zoo!, baseball players, boaters, skaters, cyclists, tour guides, children playing, folk singing and many many street (park?) vendors selling hotdogs and ice creams and yet you can still settle down in lovely quiet bits and just enjoy the peacefulness.
It was a gloriously beautiful day, sunny and exactly the right the temperature to enjoy it! A nice soft breeze was lifting the leaves off the trees and blowing the blossoms about and it was just, well, lovely.

PS. Managed to get internet access tonight - woohoo - so have backblipped the past few days!
