Summit?

...the trials of the previous night made the first part of Saturday a bit trying.

But we were into our stride by Munro #3! It was an interminable snow-slog up the western slopes of Beinn a'Bhuirdh. Shallowing slowly, I was convinced that the summit cairn must have been burried, only finally to find it emerge over the featureless horizon.

Onward over Beinn Avon, to the bothy we had originally tried to get to the night before... and the long awaited fire and hot meal (but only at 10:30pm!)...
