Rise you!

Can't decide whether it's a good or a bad thing to go to bed to the smell of freshly baked bread. It's absolutely heavenly but makes me want to eat, not sleep! At least this way it will be nicely cooled for making pieces in the morning.

You too at home can have all this: bread makers just make it so easy!

The other BIG accomplishment of the day is napoleon and I went for a run after work. I've not been out since I twisted my ankle last October so it's more than healed by now, I've just been very lazy. But this evening was wonderful (weather-wise) and it feels good to be back out there... though a tortoise could have passed me.

Rounded the night out with another excellent episode of Glee, then walking into our kitchen only to find a mouse scurrying across the room and under the boiler cupboard door! So that's where he's been coming from; I never even thought to check there and sure enough, big gapping holes where the pipes go down below the floorboards. But I'm on to you now, oh yes. Your days of waltzing willy nilly all over the shop are over! (old sheet now stuffed tightly under the door, as a stop gap till we can plug the actual holes).
