I live here

Okay, so that's a lie. I'm sorry. But don't I wish I lived here? Quite a nice walkway to come home to at the end of the day, isn't it? I merely had the pleasure of walking past it this evening.

We went to a little talk tonight about the Scotland Street Tunnel. Quite an amazing feat of engineering that lies abandoned under the New Town. There's plans to open up just the north end of it where it comes out at King George V's Park. Too bad it's too long for a cycle track (and pretty steep as it comes into town, by all accounts); I know I wouldn't fancy cycling through there for 1,000 yrds with no escape route!

I'm also pretty psyched as I just signed up for an 8 week sewing course. Should be quite good and I will pick up some handy skills no doubt. Plus it's in the same venue we got married in (The Lot in the Grassmarket); such a lovely building to spend an afternoon sewing in!
