Dinner at the Meydan

Well another day at the show!
Tonight we had dinner at the new Meydan Hotel next to the recently built Dubai Racecourse. It was only 5 stars!

Had booked into the steak restaurant. Thankfully we had the Quality Director from the Jumeirah Hotel group with us.

So after running up a £600 bill for dinner, she called the manager over, pulled out her card and her meal was deducted from the bill...and the rest was significantly reduced! Ended up playing about £350 for the 8 of us :)

I was looking down the wine list, the most expensive bottle was around 52,000Dirhams (£10,000). We didn't order that.

Even though the place was only open a month - it was completely empty! We were the only folk in the whole restaurant!

It's a hard life you know.
