Rufous Hummingbird

I spent most of the morning shooting hummingbirds, oh what fun!
Even though I used a telephoto lens to get this shot, I spent some time with a wide angle lens. I was able to stand within one foot of the feeder and get some shots. The hummingbirds were humming around my head and for the fear of scaring them I couldn't move or even look around. great fun!

PS I never spent more than a few minutes at a time this close to the feeder so they would be sure to get enough food
