snow

After a heavy rain last night I looked out the window this morning to snow in the upper elevations of the Blue Mtns.

Snow isn't uncommon in the Blue Mts. this time of year, it is just I normally see it from the valley instead of up here.

It was 39 degrees when I looked, so a couple of degrees colder and I would have had snow on the ground instead of the rain.

I find it interesting the trees on top of the mountains were white with snow and the cherry trees were white with blooms.

The hummingbirds were business as usual, visiting the feeder.
