A good day at the doctor

This a tree outside of the doctor's office where I had an appointment. The tree was photographed in IR. I liked it because of the light and shadows in the early morning light. It was a good doctor's visit and I continue to really like the physician's assistant I see. We talked about the results from my visit to the cardiologist the day before where I found out I will not need surgery on a congenital defect in my heart (bicuspid aortic valve) which is wearing out early and causing an aortic aneurysm for 3-7 years. Talking about it with the PA made it all seem real. This was such good news. Somehow I had convinced myself I knew it would happen real soon and kill me. It was nice for clarifying some values.

Today I am thankful for my day, my life, Janet the PA, Dr. Folks the cardiologist and trees.
