Bangkok barricades

In the photo you can see one of the barricades the red shirts have built around their demonstration site at the Ratchaprasong intersection in Bangkok's business district. They have been extending their area day by day. This barricade built with bamboo sticks and tyres is located in the intersection of Ploenchit Rd. and Wireless Rd. that I passed by on my way from a meeting today. The demonstration site is like a state within a state. It has its own leaders, soldiers, border guards and laws. Worrying.
