Political flip-flops a la red shirts

The red shirts are still continuing their anti-government protest in Bangkok. I went to see the situation at the main demonstration site at the Ratchaprasong intersection today. In the late afternoon there were only few hundred protesters and it was pretty quiet.

There are numerous street vendors selling food and different kinds of stuff at the demonstration site. I spotted these flip-flops with pictures of the army and government spokespersons and the prime minister and his deputy on the side of a street. It is good to remember that in Asian cultures the feet are considered to be the dirtiest part of the body...
