Birds Like Coconuts!

This morning was the first time I've actually got a shot of a Great Tit. They often visit the bird table, but are so nervous they hardly pause to feed. Last week I bought the coconut feeder full of seed set into fat. Hey, presto! I found that the very well known saying is true, great tits do, indeed, like coconuts!

I know, I should have let someone tell me!

So this proved to keep the great tit occupied long enough for me to get the camera back onto the right spot. I'd given up on a bird shot and was messing about with a bowl of flowers.

I'm looking forward to trying this one again!
