A bit of national service would sort them out.

Meet my son Chris he is 17 and belongs to the most hated and vilifyed social group in Britain, the dreaded teenager!!!!!!.
He can often be found marauding through books, doing his paper round, and worst of all listening to Classic FM (turn that bloody pastoral symphony down, bloody racket!!!!).
His friends of course are the worst, they are confident, polite, and well read ba**ards!!!!.
A few years ago I was working in the control room at St Leonards Police station and was ground down by the daily complaints about kids playing football (not a crime in Scotland unless you play for the national team), I reached breaking point however when one day a gentleman! phoned to complain about kids flying a kite (I kid you not), his rationale being that it might hit his window. He was so unhappy with what I said to him that he complained to the Chief constable.
We even complain when teenagers do well, the latest press coverage on exams results suggests that the high pass marks are due to the exams getting easier!!, what an insult.
I would be naive to suggest that everything in the teenage world is rosy, and for those blighted by gang culture life must be awful, but lets not blame all society's ill's on teenagers.
