Taking the Hiss!!!!!!

I found this today, for those who are very young it is the 1970's state of the art technology the cassette tape.
I'm not sure if people still buy tapes anymore, but I loved them and would spend a lot of my hard earned buying the best quality known as chrome tapes or if you were and audiophile metal tapes.
The humble cassette was invented (I have been told) by Phillips who gifted the format to the industry which was probably the reason the format was a success and had a fairly long lifespan.
It was also a symbol of friendship and in some cases love, as making someone a "mixed tape" of your favourite sounds (often taking days) was considered to mark you out as "a good guy".
