Birdlings Flat

A pretty nice day, so we headed out to Birdlings Flat to collect flat pebbles off the beach, to make doormats. Lovely to be out in the sea air.

Kids had lots of fun, playing chicken with the waves, eventually of course one of them got caught. Hannah ended up with very wet trousers - and learned a good lesson ;-)

Spotted a nice iron cabbage tree at a local artist, might be on the purchase list. Then off to Little River Cafe for lunch and a look at the art gallery. Always fun.

Home, and then an early night planned.
