St Marys Church, Fratton

Morning Blippers.
Firstly, Congratulations to my dad, cymbeline and all others in the Scotland at Play Unstaged Event during the week. Being 'exiled' in Portsmouth, the best I could do was the online webcast.

Anyway, after a blip drought at this end caused by the weather and being dragged shopping by the mother in law yesterday, I had to make my escape this morning and capture this (in between rain showers). MIL does take a while to get ready and the prospect of me getting my own back by taking everyone for a 'gentle' wander through the forest made her progress even slower. Jayne, if you ever get online and read this, I do only jest!!

Back to this blip, St Marys Church is often photographed from the other side as this side was obscured by a derelict building. This has recently been demolished, opening up this view. I've noticed it a few times and decided that I would head out this morning and leave the women in peace to get washed and dressed. Oliver is hooked on Lego Star Wars Wii (introduced by his cousin Daniel whilst up in Scotland), so I may have a battle getting out the door. Anyway, here goes......
