Hurry up or I'll be Off!

Today we walked to the top of Ysgyryd (Skirrid) Fawr. This most easterly of Black Mountains is shrouded in rich mythology. We decided to ascend the last of the slopes by the sttepest route, as heavy rain was forecast. It didn't materialise fortunately until late into the evening, by which time we were safely ensconced in the pubs best chairs.

However, on the descent, the path took us along Offas Dyke where we saw this endearing lamb. He paused just long enough to get this shot. Shortly after he gambolled off to his mother.
