The Crow Road

Managed to have a lie in this morning and then visited Cambo House in Kingsbarns, Fife. Very excited to get to see the sea again ... the walk there from the house was potted with strange woodland art that looked like something from the Blairwitch Project. The sea was wonderful and wild but edged by a golfcourse so as soon as we walked onto the beach we were yelled at ... warning of flying golf balls. The trees around the edge were windswept and dark with crows nests at the top.

Back at the house we daydreamed about all the abandoned outbuildings ... they would make such a perfect hideaway from the world. Beautiful yellow sandstone, walled gardens, streams, trees and flowers. Sadly my camera ran out of power so this is the only shot I managed to take... lots of other fantastic shots to be had if I had been organised.

Meet Doh in the afternoon before flying back to Birmingham. It feels wrong to come back here and think I'm home. Its all backwards!
