Cello
L, A and S like watching television and although we try not to let them watch too much of it, the electronic babysitter is on now and again (and we try to stick to the childrens programmes without advertising in-between).
Recently we've discovered this new programme that introduces musical instruments/concepts to children and is really cleverly made. I have yet to watch an entire episode but what I get to see and hear looks and sounds good to me. Today Julian Lloyd Webber was playing the cello and this inspired L to make her own. She kept humming a tune while playing and this blip doesn't really do her justice. I also filmed her (using my blip-camera) and the result is really quite funny. If she goes on to play the real cello I'll show her the footage sometime in the future.
Survived with the girls by pottering about the house in the morning and visiting one of L's friends in the afternoon.
Made pizzadough with the girls in the morning and pizza in the evening, great way of making them to eat what's on their plates!
As ever I need to work on my portraits, I keep looking at my subject and ignore the background. At least she hasn't go the lamp grow out of her head, major improvement...
