India Gate
After a hectic working Saturday, I was looking forward to going to India Gate in the evening. The moment we stepped out, the weather was unexpectedly grey, picturing the season of monsoon.. Somehow, seeing this, I felt light, as if some burden was lifted off..
The drive was really nice under the bustling leaves of green and yellow. The colors were like respite to the tired eyes.
On reaching India Gate, the rain drops started to fall upon us, just as intense the wind was to dry it up. I was a bit apprehensive about getting wet in the rain, have not really been accustomed to it. Somehow, it did not rain any heavy though.
We walked and walked up till Rashtrapati Bhavan. The structure was very well made with wide spaces between each piece of architecture.
On returning back, we decided to have dinner at Khan Market, the place I had never visited before. The decision of going there was great, thanks to SM for that. I really enjoyed that place, it had some really interesting corridors depicting history of bygone years.
Indeed, a very well spent evening after a day long of work!
