Strange day....

It's been a very mixed bag today....got up in a good mood, anticipating the kiln hitting it's temperature around 10am...i put it on last night at around 10pm...
first thing was we were woken up by the most incredible wind blowing around ..... everything felt like it was shaking and moving! pretty crazy!
Then around 9.30am we lost power.....1/2 hour before my kiln would reach temperature....major funk now!!!! At this stage i have no idea if we will be without power for an hour or maybe 2 days.....i don't like that out of control feeling! anyway, the power came back on around 2pm.....so the kiln was started up again....at this point it is impossible to tell how long the firing will take....so now it's a bit of a guessing game. Mind you if my pyrometer was working....well that would help a lot!!!

we did have a wonderful walk thro the bush - and the clouds were moving around us, the light was awesome! that helped cheer me up a lot!

Now it's Dinner time...yeah!
