Emerging Water Lilies.

I've spent most of today upstairs, at my desk overlooking the pond! It's been a really cold, wet and dreary day here.....but I was drawn outside to explore the pond, cos the wind and rain have been creating the most beautiful dancing patterns over the surface of the water. It stopped raining for about 10 minutes, and as i walked around the edge of a very soggy pond, I found the beginnings of the wonderful water lilies that eventually look like this!

We're having an open house here this weekend....it's Mother's Day over this side of the pond - so we've been busy firing kilns, making the studio and showroom look really pretty! Now all we need are some customers!
