Its M's 30th birthday today!

We surprised her with cake and wine and cards and presents and had a really lovely day. Went to see a show on Broadway, despite my strenuous suggestions otherwise she really wanted to see Mary Poppins and it was her day so thats what we did.
But do you know, it was fabulous! Loved it!
Which just goes to show that you are never too old... ;o)

We shopped a bit and tried to stay inside where there was aircon as much as possible - its swelteringly stiflingly humidly hot here just now.
Then later on we went down to Little Italy for some dinner. Its gorgeous at night with all the fairy lights and sidewalk cafes. Mmmmmm....yummy pasta!

One bad thing though - I dropped my camera tonight :( Its still working thankfully but what with that and getting rain inside it last week, it might not be long before it gives up on me :(
