The Naked Cowboy

Our last day in NYC. Tomorrow morning we'll be landing back in Edinburgh, and to reality, with a bump!

But before we had to leave for the airport this afternoon we went to Greenwich Village :O)

I'd insisted yesterday that if we were going to have a day of shopping then I'd better get to see Greenwich Village before we left! I've wanted to go for the longest time and it didn't disappoint. It's a beautiful area, very cool and bohemian with gorgeous buildings and shops. We had a lovely wander around in the sunshine (finally the weather has broken and its just lovely again, sunny but not sweaty!) and ended up in Washington Square Park sitting watching the world go by with folks splashing about in the fountain and a jazz band playing and people dancing.
Wonderful!

It seemed only fitting that todays blip was of me and Mags as an end to our wee adventure :o) So this is us being molested by the Naked Cowboy in Times Square just minutes before we headed back to our hotel, picked up our stuff and got a yellow cab to the airport.
lol he is hilarious!

Thanks to everyone who has been following our trip and to all of you who have left comments, it's been lovely having you along with us and I've really enjoyed blipping our travels.
We've had the most amazing time and it's been, well, FANTASTIC!

PS. My camera broke today. I'm absolutely gutted and even worse it was completely due to my own spongy clumsiness as I think its a result of dropping it the other day :( either that or it just couldn't handle my incessant photo taking! Fingers crossed I'll be able to claim it on my travel insurance. Thank God it didn't happen before today as I'd have been bereft without it.
