Baaaaaaaaaaaad lionfish

This is a Lionfish, one of my favourite fish to spot when diving. They are so pretty, like swimming birds with lovely feathers. We have seen them plenty of times in the Red Sea.

But I should not have been able to blip it today!

In the Caribbean, Lionfish are bad - they are not indiginous to the area and have no natural preadators. Some were accidentally released a few years back and they are breeding, and eating everything!

They are also painfully stingy, so no touchy touchy (as our dive guides would have told us if they had bothered to give us a briefing).
