Slow Progress
Only got about half done with the middle image today. Had a business lunch date so didn't get started until 2pm and it got too cold and dark by just after 5. George Baggley's daughter arrived in Boise today and came by to see the progress. it's the first time we've met in person and she really liked it so far. I think it's looking good also, but would like to have better conditions. I put up a small space heater next to the paint can hoping it would keep the paint more fliud and less like pudding as the temperature dropped. It might have helped a little. If nothing else, it was available to warm my fingers.
You can see some of the tracing on the right side of the photo.
While I was painting, a young boy came to watch then his mother came up. He's a budding young artist, apparently, and they are going to come back on Friday in the evening when I'm tracing to watch. I don't want to spoil anything, but the young man told me "I know what that is!" I replied "you do?" and he said "A man in a boat".
