My friend, Elena, was running in a marathon and invited friends out for moral support. I had never been to an event like this before, and I was astounded. The officials said that they had anticipated around 500 participants, but the final numbers came in closer to 2,400. To see everyone out there running was inspirational. It was almost enough to motivate me to resume my exercise regimen...almost!
