Union Canal at Ratho
Tonight was the debut of my NEW tripod. A fairly complex beast it has to be said. It's a guddle of levers, screws, clips and other things. To get it to do what I want is a task akin to solving world poverty. But, that all said, despite it weighing about 3 tonnes it's an impressive bit of kit. And so it should be on the wrong side of £100. I also got to use my new programmable remote switch in anger too. This is a really impressive little thing, £30 off Ebay, well worth a look.
Anyway, this is the Union Canal basin at Ratho, a pub, a humpback bridge and a collection of rickity looking barges. Very nice it was too.
