Pitmedden Garden

Always on the lookout for tearooms, we were very impressed with the welcome and home-baking at Pitmedden Garden.

The garden itself is still being readied for the summer. Most of the beds in the Great Garden are as yet unplanted but there are odd splashes of colour along the borders and terraces. All the same, it was a pleasant and peaceful visit with very few people there and the only sound was that of the oystercatchers calling each other across the hedges.
