Life size Figurines

These are 'welded' together iron sheets, formed very artistically into life-sized cultural figures from days gone by! Note the skin skirts, the water urn on her head and the spear in his hand.

It is available to be purchased at the Chameleon Village, Hartbeespoort! There are other awesome works of art in the same category available as well. I took quite a nice picture of a lion, made in the same way, with the mane beautifully crafted by welding lóts of thin strips of iron plate to it's head!! Awesome work!

We took R jnr there for an outing today, he loves the food from 'Tandoori' and we preferred Chicken Schnitzel with veggies and chips from the Savanna Grill.
