Bit of red with the blue

Been on a bit of a Bluebell fest today. First took an 8 mile walk around Wray and Roeburndale in the North of Lancashire which takes in a wonderful wooded river valley. Then did a quick change into some posh togs on the village car park and drove to a very old fashioned restaurant we know nr Goosnargh that does high tea, roast duck, roasties, peas, stuffing gravy followed by sherry trifle plus plenty of good strong tea from a silver tea pot all for £9. This was treat for Cal's 16 B'day. We then finished off with a tour of the local country lanes as the evening was so lovely and a short walk to see the bluebells along the R Brock valley. Bluebells are later this year and are lasting a goodly long time. Promise to post some backblips for last week soon. Back to my glass of Punk IPA from Brew Dog now.
