Charleston

Continuing our trip on the West Cost we called at Charleston, and learnt about 2 cemeteries there. The first one was a Catholic one and the other was the Protestant cemetery on the hill. I do not know why but they hold a fascination for me, but I like visiting them. This had been an old gold mining town, and it was interesting reading the headstones where we could. Many of the graves have wrought iron fences around them, and this is a zoom of one of them.
