Cruel

Today I returned to the pond where I made yesterdays photograph of the Ducklings and their mother. Not in particular for the Ducklings, but for a nest with huge Goose eggs. Yesterdays shots of them were miserable and today Mrs. Goose was sitting on them. I was just looking for the Ducklings to see how they were doing. I spotted two of them in the water and came closer to see where the other six were. They were gone! Also the lovely white/yellow one (the sweet one that was sheltering onder his/her mothers wing) was missing, probably eaten by a Heron or a rat. Sometimes nature can be so cruel.....

Went home a bit sad and did a garden blip. Rhododendron flower with a lot of frustration processing.
